Martha and Jody's Portland Golf Club Wedding

Martha and Jody celebrated one of the best days of their lives on a sunny day in May at the Portland Golf Club. We got to know Martha and Jody thanks to Martha's brother, John, who we've photographed in recent years. We adore John, so it should come as no surprise that their entire family was wonderful. As was Jody's. Jody and Martha's Moms proudly watched on as Martha got ready for the big day, and Martha's Dad threw out his typical dry sense of humor as we danced around like weirdos trying to get the small kiddos to smile for family photos. Their families and friends traveled from all over the country (and Canada!) to celebrate them. We learned quickly that Jody was most looking forward to the part where everyone lifted them up in chairs on the dance floor and cheered them on. Before we left, Jodi came to us and said, "BEST. DAY. EVER."
