Makayla's Portrait session

Makayla is a mother of two sweet and fun boys. She is also a stunning young woman who would be fun to photograph any day, but this session was extra special because it was a celebration of getting to the other side of her cancer treatments. She is strong and beautiful inside and out and it was such a treat to photograph her and learn from her. My favorite was when she bravely removed her wig at the end of the session and transformed into a badass rockstar model. Although it wasn't a choice to lose her hair, she sure does make it look good.
