Kim & Russel's engagement shoot

Kim and Russel met with me for their engagement shoot on a super chilly Portland day. They did an incredible job of keeping happy and looking as not-freezing-cold as possible :) We took photos at Washington Park to start and then they led me to the place where they first meet in a Portland running group. We headed over to the base of Mississippi Street and walked around the sidewalks under the highway overpasses. The personal touches people bring to shoots are always my favorite, especially when it brings us to a cool location I haven't photographed before. There was even a heart painted on a wall close to where the magic all began. (I didn't do it, I swear!) Looking forward to these two tying the knot on a (much warmer) day this coming summer!
