Jonny and Meg's Pacific City Engagement Session

My heart needed this one.

I love having seasonal work. We have a short season here in Oregon for portraits, weddings, and brand lifestyle shoots. I get a huge influx of photography jobs between June and October, then the “season” is over and after editing until December, I get a few months to unwind, catch up on personal projects, read, write, and cross off some long-term “to-dos” from that seemingly never-ending list in my mind. During my slower season, I get out only a couple times a month to take photos. I start to miss the process and the creative outlet of it all and come springtime, I am so ready to get back into the full swing of summer again.

Meg and Jonny brought me the perfect morning, and wonderful adventure back into wedding season with their Pacific City engagement shoot this past weekend. I was so excited after the shoot, that I went home and started editing photos right away. I couldn’t even wait. This was the perfect reminder of why I love what I do. I love love, I love adventure, I love Oregon, I love dogs! All of it. I’m ready for you 2018 season!
