Brian and I are just days away from a 2 week trip to Colorado. We have not one, but two weddings to photograph there! I’m trying my best to cram in as many blog posts as I can before we go on our adventure. I’m excited to share some more photos from Rachelle and Nik’s wedding this past July 23rd. The event was held at one of the most beautiful settings I’ve ever worked at. Nik’s family lives right on the Sandy River on the way to Mt Hood and they had a large enough (and stunning enough) property to host the event. The ceremony took place on an open lawn surrounded by tall trees. The cocktail hour followed on a private beach area with the Sandy River flowing by. It was an incredible spot for photos, I can’t say enough nice things about it!
As for these two, they are so meant for one another. They are kind and light hearted. They welcomed us into their lives for the day and it felt like we had known them, and their friends and families for years. They were all phenomenal people. The photo session started off with an great reaction as these two saw one another for the first time. They had huge smiles plastered on their faces while in the background, both moms and dads cried for joy at the union of these two. It was so sweet! The tears of happiness didn’t stop there, but they were met with just as many laughs and hugs throughout the day. The fun went on late into the night. Music was pumping, drinks were flowing and the dance floor stayed packed. They know how to party! It was a very joyous wedding day to be apart of. Congrats to this beautiful couple. We wish you the very best and a lifetime of happiness together!
