I’m excited to post more images from Kevin and Christine’s wedding only a few short weeks ago. Kevin and Christine are a kind, sweet and low-key couple. Their day was easy going to start and then ended with a giant party at the Tiffany Center. They met up before the ceremony to do photos and we were lucky to have a small break in the rain that afternoon. We wandered around the city blocks and narrowly avoided getting hit by Portland street cars all for the sake of art. We may have been honked at while taking the photo you see at the top of this post.
After a session with the bride and groom, their families and their wedding party, we headed indoors for the ceremony and reception. I loved the warm expressions on their faces as they said their vows and committed to one another. The night continued on with some fantastic toasts, extremely delicious food and cake, and some (ahem) a TON of dancing! Not only did the bride and groom have a dance routine for their first dance, but we got to experience Persian music and dancing. I had never heard or seen Persian music and dancing at a wedding before, so it was a fun experience to jump into and photograph. The day went off without any problems. There was tons of laughter, dancing and love for these two. Brian and I wish you, Kevin and Christine, the very best as you start your lives together! Thank you for having us along to document your day.
I liked this quick moment in between photos with family where Kevin’s brother helped straighten him out. His mom’s expression fit the events of the day so well.
So sweet! Signing the marriage license and making it official.
Parents of the bride, getting down on the dance floor!
